If you are a male, escape these traps in Tinder!!!

Dating apps, if we like it or not, they have become a pivotal part of the current dating life all over the world for single people wanted to meet other people, have dates, fun or something serious.

As a single middle aged man who has used dating apps for several years in different countries and continents in the world, and I have gone to hundreds of dates where I have had from great fun to awful experiences, I wanted to share my experience for those of you who might be a bit naive due to young age or having started to use these dating apps recently. The title of the article refers to Tinder as the most famous dating app worldwide, but you can apply the same principle to any other like Bumble, Hinge or whatever you might be using to try to find company.

So here are my top list of 13 kind of female profiles to avoid and not waste your previous time too much if you want to avoid losing money, getting scammed or a huge amount of drama and headaches:

1. The girl who shows half naked in her pics but only want a serious thing.

I think people should understand that actions have consequences in life, and the way that you present yourself matters. You will find a huge amount of profiles, specially with young girls, where the pics leave very little to the imagination. Scanty clothes, tiny biknis, lingerie, suggestive erotic poses, the whole array. Then you must think, “oh ok this girl is up for fun right” and then if you start chatting, she will say that only serious things. Really, I would recommend to avoid these like a plague. First cause probably she is telling that to you while fucking another hot dude, she is using her looks to get free dinners and cocktails that you are going to pay and she is showing herself half naked for any user out there, not just for you. Situation can be become evern worse if you start dating one of these girls and you become “her official paparazzi” where she asks you to take tones of pics of herself to post for anybody to see in her social media. Do you understand that the same pics you take for her are the ones she will use to send to the next guy she is banging after she breaks up with you? Please, avoid them. There is something worse than a slut, and that is an hypocrite slut.

2. The girl who does not do ONS

“I do not do one night stands”…the infamous female shield sentence we all have read millions of times. For starters, be assured that is not true, she does or has done in the past. Now probably she wants you as a provider while she is or was happily jumping on dicks of other hot guys. Take into account that this excuse is also perfect to hook you up in invite to dinner and drinks and activities for several days with the promise that you will have some action.
Remember one thing, girls make guys wait for sex when they are not so interested in them. Personally, I have a rule that if in 2 dates maximum no intimate advances have happened, then is not worthy to be pursued. Sex is not something that needs to happen in 5 minutes, but is something that separates dating from just friendship. And I guess you are not in Tinder to make friends, cause for that you can go with your mates to watch football, drink beer and talk videogames. Also remember that for having a second or third night, there has to be a first. So just joke with the ladies, tell things like if you have that stupid rule of no sex in first day etc then you have a rule that no sex in the second date. That usually blows their mind :) Make also clear in a polite way that you are a man, not a child, and intimacy when chemistry clicks is expected in adult dating. If they continue refusing any idea of hot intimacy, let them go. I mean, why would you make efforts to sleep with somebody who would not share a similar desire for you?

3. The girls who want money and sugar daddies

Up to you if you want to pay for fun, but I personally do not like that, as I find that it diminishes my value as a man with a lot to offer. Besides, don’t you prefer to have fun with a girl who is into fun for enjoying and not for trying to finish asap and run with your money?
Our current feminist toxic society is relentlessly brainstorming our brains with the idea that women are the victims and men are evil sexual predators. Funnily enough the most famous documentary about scamming in Tinder, “The Tinder Swindler” is about a man. Nobody does documentaries about the millions of women who try to scam the money out of naive men in so many different ways. Asking gifts, asking to be invited, asking money for sex. You might remember also that soliciting (asking money for sexual activities) is not allowed in Tinder and in most of the dating apps, so it is an illegal activity that you should not endorse, but quite the opposite, you should report those profiles.
My advice, when you encounter these profiles, and you will encounter them cause they are everywhere, just report or delete. If you are not into this of course, and you should not be if you consider yourself a man of a certain value. Do not try to convince them to have a normal date. These girls only have money in their brains. Just delete and focus your effort on normal girls. Remember, wanting intimacy and sex is not a crime in dating, even when we men are getting constantly insulted for being men. Other things like trying to scam money, insult or use violence are bad things, but sharing pleasure in a mutual way is not. So do not be ashamed of being a man, but also do not have patience with prostitutes and scammers flooding the dating apps.

4. The girl who wants a husband and a family

Well, you are using a dating app where the idea is to meet people, have fun and see how things develop. But you will find a lot of these ladies that are only about serious things, and put comments like “do not play games” or “do not waste my time”. Personally, I would not waste too much time with them. Or they are desperate middle aged women who just want a man to “support them” (translate into wanting your money for the rest of their lives), or they think that they are a princess and special to be born and you are into this world to fulfill their desires.
Any person with common sense would understand that a long relation takes time and sharing experiences (including sexual experiences) to identify if getting into a serious monogamous relationship is feasible. Do not be stupid to lose your freedom just to bend to the wishes of any desperate woman online. Remember that from their side, they will have no moral remorse when they break up with you, ignore you or ghost you, according to their own benefit.
This becomes even more funny when you have women on their 40s telling you the line that they want a family and children. Remember, they have had more than 20 years of adult life to achieve that if they wanted first, so what did they do for more than 2 decades? Choosing bad partners? Having random fun and sucking dick with no commitment until age hit them? You are not responsible to fix the life of any woman.
On these lines, I would not recommend either to be involved in a serious relation with a divorced woman with small children. Usually they are great fun to fuck around, but remember that you will never be the first priority in their life. Any weekend plan can be suddenly cancelled if a child is sick, not mentioning that you will end up meeting the child and then paying meals not only for her but also for children that are not yours. Plus they usually will never allow you to discipline them as “you are not the father”. So do not fall into that trap either.

5. The girl who is a princess and wants princess treatment and hates 50/50

These girls can be defined more easily as goldiggers. They are not princesses, they do not have royal blood and they are no special. They also go to the WC every day same like you. They are just trying to use their hot looks and their big boobs to take advantage of you as much as they want. Be invited to dinners, clubs, parties and not pay a single cent.
I am not telling that you need to be stingy in a date, but choose carefully in the first 1 or 2 dates the place where you meet and the intentions of a girl. I ‘d personally would not spend much money on a first date for a total strange woman that has not given me anything, has not showed me any value or what kind of person or interest has for me. If a woman says that you need to put a lot of effort to spend a lot of money in first dates with her, then I would run away. In theory when you match in a dating app, interest should be mutual. Of course you as a man are gonna have to lead, ask first most of the times and choose what plan to do, but once again, do not make too huge efforts. Something like a couple of beers or a picnic in a park or a beach is enough if the girl is a normal sweet girl. There will be time later if she has shown you that she is nice and you have had good sex if you wanna make the effort to invite her to some weekend escape or dinner. So do not be stupid with your energies and your money so she can just post some fancy pic in her Instagram of a nice beach club or dinner where she did not pay a cent for or spent more time on the phone chatting with other guys than talking to you

6. The girl who only answers with “Yes”, “No” or emoticons

Yes, women are lazy and they usually have a bigger array of potential guys to meet. But in theory when you match somebody, should be with some kind of mutual desire to get to know each other.
Do not accept the chats where she answers with an emoticon or a single word. For me, after 2 or 3 of those answers with 0 effort, is time to unmatch. They are just there having you as the back up plan number 10, or waiting if you offer some expensive dinner or tickets to a concert. She is not making any effort even to communicate like a normal person with you, so stop with the interrogator mode and move on. Any girl who is really interested in you will answer with full sentences and will make the effort to ask you some questions to get to know you before you arrange a real date.

7. The girl who is always too busy to meet

But we know that nobody is really so busy right? Specially nowadays when girls have their mobile phones glued to their hands 20/7 and they can send messages even from the toilet.
You got a match, you started a conversation in whatsapp, she lives in the same city far from you but week after week, every time you propose to meet, she is busy. She seems to have 0 free time after work, she has plans with friends, she has a trip…
You see where this is going right? Stop communicating with her. She has very little interest in meeting, so I think that after a couple of delays or cancellations, is time to strike out. Be polite, say that it ‘d be wonderful to meet but that you cannot be asking every week and ignore her. Sometimes the lack of attention might work out in your favor and she will come back to you weeks later proposing to meet. And if not, it was never meant to be so do not waste your time for nothing. She is probably banging other guys while giving you excuses.

8 The girl who shares with you unrequested private information of the fun she had with other men

When I have some steamy conversations with a girl, I want to know what hot fun she would like to do with me. I would not care less about other people, unless it would be that she wants to bring other cute girl for a threesome. But from time to time you will find these girls that out of nowhere they will share info of guys they went recently on dates, that invited them to do something, that had sex with them…withouth having been asked.
For me personally, this is a red flat and a lack of respect, with the only intention to create jealousy and drama. Would you jeopardize the chance to meet a cute girl telling her unrequested info about the other girl you fucked the day before? It is not classy. So when a woman starts to be disrespectful, just stop her asap. And if she does not apologize, then tell her to fuck off.

9. The crazy yoga/tantra/positive energies lady

Oh yeah, they are around these kind of ladies. Putting in their profiles all kind of shit about the energy of the universe, the positive energy only, their love for yoga, the tantra sex and shit like that. Do not get confused, behind that fake facade of love and harmony there are usually women not mentally stable with a perturbed mind, who are unkind and narcissitic and will snap and scream at you the moment you share an opinion different from them. Put on the same basket the extreme feminists or the ladies with extreme left political views. If you are not a submissive simp puppet guy and you have your own opinions, better run away from them. Besides, tantric sex is boring as hell…

10. The girl with the shopping list about the 100 requirements for the guy she wants to date

The girl would date you, but only if you are taller than 1.85, sporty, rich, generous (translate generous to give your money, not to share your french fries), have great humor (but only if you are a hot guy with humor, ugly guys with humor or short guys with humor not welcomed), etc etc etc.
Once again, I would personally run away from these profiles where they act like a queen on the throne choosing what slave they want. The principle of dating apps is meeting people and sharing an effort an interest in each other. We are not perfect and we do not need to be. I do not know why a woman who has never met me should judge me just cause I am short while she is wearing make up, using filters in the pics that sometimes get ridiculous, push up bras, heels, lie about their age, post pictures taken 10 years ago with 15 kgs less… so once again, avoid these profiles. Let them live in their dream of the perfect guy that never exists.

11. The fat girl who acts like she is proud to be fat

I do not want to sound too harsh, cause there are all kind of body types in the world. But in most cases, when a girl is fat, is because she is eating too much and not exercising enough. Fine, there are guys who might like fat girls, although most men would like a nice figure. What I find funny is the fat girls who try to disguise it as “I am chubby” or that in literally every picture they appear eating. Please bitch, if you are fat, at least do not even show it proudly in every photo eating cakes…

12. The girl who is super sporty and only dates sporty guys

Sports are great for the body and mind. I practice and I have practiced sports. That does not mean that a compulsory requirement for dating a girl is that she must like playing football table or doing indoor cycling 5 times a week like me. But you will see these profiles where the girl really wants a guy to go to run with her, if not, she will not date you. Once again, do not sacrifice your own independency and hobbies for her. You are the driver of your own lifestyle and if a woman comes, is to add value, not to have your will bent to their wishes

13. The girl who will snap and insult you gratuitously out of nowhere

At this point of the article, I think that is clear that my opinion is that you should not tolerate disrespectful behaviour from women in dating apps. This includes sentences passive agressive like “go to fuck a prostitute if you want free fun”, trying to diminish your value as a man (like if sex would not be free and mutual when both persons want it, which happens millions of times in millions of dates everywhere in the world).

I have experienced women getting super nasty and insulting just for the simple fact that I did not want the same they wanted. It might be I was on holidays so I just wanted some casual fun date and they wanted a super serious thing, and started to snap at me and insult me. Even prostitutes and sugar babies that got frustrated when they saw that there was no money to milk coming their way.
Once again, my advice is, if you notice she is being dramatic, insulting or disrespectful, stop it immediately. Unlatch, block, report but do not stay in the chat counter-arguing with a mentally unstable women. There are many other more normal women you can spend your time, efforts and energy with. Do not get sucked in their drama, cause many ladies feed on drama. Also, refrain from insulting back, even if you would have a right to do so after being disrespected. What might happen is that the crazy bitch will report you, and a couple of reports in Tinder ban your account with no explanation or chance to defend yourself. So just report or delete and move on to chat with more sane women.

13. The girl who wants you to entertain her during holidays
I lived several years in Bangkok, being Thailand the most touristic country in the world, so of course the capital would attract a fair amount of female single tourists checking Tinder while on holidays.
Sometimes, if you are lucky, this can be fun, as it is kind of understood that is just casual holiday fun. But be aware of the many traps with the female tourists. Many of them will want to use you as a “tourist guide”, meaning to show them cool places, restaurants etc where obviously most likely you will end up paying for everything. Remember you are in Tinder to date, not to work for free as a guide and not to pay the travel expenses of girls. So my advice is do not invest too much money in advance and try to meet asap. Those girls are really flaky, they can agree on a plan with you and then they might have 20 other dudes chatting and offering better plans, so the risk that they ghost you or cancel you or never show up in an agreed date is very high. I had situations where I spent hours crossing Bangkokg, showering and preparing myself to be ghosted with no remorse. So be careful with those profiles that want the “guide”, they are just usually jiggling which of the 50 guys they are chatting with offer them the best deal. In general I would avoid also any other profile that says that are in Tinder “to learn languages” or that try to sell you any kind of service. Tinder is not Linkedin. Tinder is an app for dating. If they want to use it for work, there are other platforms, and if they want to learn languages, you can teach all the dirty vocabulary in bed, if not they can go to many other language exchange apps.

The good, the bad and the ugly of living in Bangkok

Living in Thailand was never my dream. I had visited here as a tourist some years ago, and I enjoyed it a lot, but it never crossed my mind living here permanently.

But life takes unexpected paths, and after 1 year living in Singapore during Covid time, I got a nice professional offer to settle in Bangkok that I could not refuse. At that time, with uncertainty about the future due to Covid, I thought that Thailand would be a nicer place, as at least it was allowed traveling inside its borders, than staying in small Singapore with all the strict rules set at that time in the country.

Now, almost 3 years later, I think I passed the honeymoon period when you arrive to a new place and I am more objective to judge the good and bad things of living in the Thai capital. Do not get me wrong, in general I love living here and I would recommend it to anyone. Bangkok is an amazing vibrant city where there is so much life, so much to explore, so many choices of entertainment and cuisine for all kind of pockets… But there is obviously no perfect place in the world, right? This is coming from a person who has lived in 6 different countries during his 44 years of life. So here comes my personal list of “The good, the bad and the ugly of living in Bangkok”:

The Good

-If you like city life, you are going to love Bangkok. Its city centre is always bursting with people and whatever hobbies and passions you have, there will be a good chance to find it here: you can play petanque in some French restaurant, or trivial, or retro videogames in some retro bar, you have hundreds of gyms with all kind of sports to practice, hackathons for developers, culinary courses, golf, etc etc etc


-You always have something new to discover: from some of the most beautiful temples in the world, and the temples themselves have a wide variety of decorations, architecture, etc, to huge night markets, food courts, malls with famous brands, indoor cafes, outdoor cafes with cosy patios, bars, restaurants, parks, museums, art galleries, rooftops, hidden cocktail bars, traditional boat tours around the city channels… the list is endless.

-A paradise for foodies and Instagram addicted: Thai food is exquisite and you can already get crazy tasting all what Thailand has to offer in restaurants and night markets or street food vendors (which by the way are in general quite safe to try, do not be scared to buy food from the streets). But you can find restaurants and craft beer bars to taste the flavors from all over the world: Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Italian, Indian food… You can easily spend years in this city just on culinary adventures, and if you are too lazy to go out of home, services like Grab Food bring it to your door.

-It is quite a safe city to roam: this is a question that I get asked a lot when I visit Europe back, if Bangkok is dangerous. I can say that I feel pretty safe here, and I think for solo male and female travelers is also super safe. Of course no place is a paradise of peace, and exceptional crime cases happen sometimes, but with the huge amount of visitors in the city, that falls into anecdotic. Take into account that the Thai get money from tourists, so it is not in their interest to create bad reputation or problems, and in general they are chilled and easy going people. If you behave politely back and do not visit very shady bars, you will be pretty safe to walk wherever you want in the city without any risk.

-The rental prices: Your money stretches a bit farther here, and even when Bangkok is the most expensive city in Thailand, you can still rent amazing condo apartments for much less than it would cost in many other parts of the world, or even in some other Asian cities like Singapore or Hong Kong. Besides, most condos count with great facilities like swimming pool and gym and with security. Bangkok is so safe that the packages delivered are left in the lobby of the buildings, and nobody steals anything from you.

The Bad

-Traffic is pretty terrible in rush hour and you can literally get stuck for long time not moving anywhere, so you will have to learn when is worthy to use public transportation instead of a taxi. Luckily, Bangkok counts with a great network of sky rail, called BTS, and Metro. The price of taxis are pretty cheap, specially if you want to go with bike taxi, but I personally detest the motorbike taxis as they ride too aggressively and I feel always in tension, so I prefer the cars. Also take into account that traffic accidents happen often, so I would still recommend to take a car taxi instead of risking some more serious trouble with a bike.

-You can walk around Bangkok, but mind that is a city not friendly in general for walking around. You will sweat a lot with the humid heat and if you get out of the main avenues, many streets have literally no sidewalks and you just have to carefully walk on the side while cars and bikes pass by a few centimeters from you. Also the sidewalks themselves are full of traps, with posts, cables, holes… so you really need to be on the moment concentrated when you walk around and not lost in thought or checking your phone, as you can end up with a twisted ankle or a broken leg. Also, forget about using a bicycle to move around the city, there is no infrastructure for it and you would be risking your life sold in the crazy traffic.

-Thai language is a difficult language to learn, due to its difficult intonation that can change the meaning of the words. If you live in Thailand for long time but you cannot speak Thai, you will always be seen as a tourist passing by. This might not feel like a great problem, but when you are walking in busy areas and you live in the city, you can feel a bit annoyed by the tuk tuk drivers offering you rides, the massage parlour’s girls offering you massage, the taxi drivers asking you in what hotel you stay (even if you have a permanent residence in the city), etc. If you are foreigner, you will always be considered a tourist here. Plus the English language level of the local people is quite poor, so that can create a barrier to make friendships and understand the people around.


-If you are a person who values efficiency, Bangkok and Thailand in general might get a bit on your nerves. Here many things are planned or done randomly, waitress can mess up your order, bureaucracy might be more complicated than what you think, deadlines at work are not considered as final deadlines, a simple thing to fix does not get fixed… take it with humor and go with the flow, as the locals do.

The Ugly

-As a foreigner, many times Thais will expect you to pay more than the locals for the same services: taxi drivers might ask you double the usual fare price, tuk tuk drivers will try to scam you, the waitresses in many bars will be quite pushy for you to order more and more and more… As I commented in the good things section, Thailand is safe, but you still are seen as a potential source of income and money, so you will have to deal with it with patience and humor, and do not be afraid to say no when you think that the price is unfair.

-Thailand has been always advertised as the land of smiles, but sadly the reality is that Bangkok and many other touristic areas of the country suffer such a massive tourism that the “kind soul” of the citizens has got a bit lost. Do not get me wrong, Thais in general are still friendly and easy going, but you will be seen in many places just as a dollar bill with legs. You are tolerated in the country as far as you leave money spent here, but you are not deeply loved. Better assume that.

-The sex services are all around and is hard to escape from them. That is the reality. Even if you are a single male with good intentions just wanting to date normal girls, the online dating apps are full of freelancers or women who see you as an economical mean for a better life to support her, the children from previous relations and her family. And that is not mentioning the thousands of ladyboys that will try their luck with you too… If you are into that kind of partner, good for you, but I am not.

Of course there are normal high quality women in Bangkok, but you will have to filter hard to find them. Do not come with a naive illusion that all ladies will shower you with free attention here, because in many scenarios, love comes with a money price, and even going on a “normal date” will imply you as male taking care of the bills.

For female foreign residents, they also complain that is hard to find quality men as they do not see Asian men masculine enough, but western men are often busy with Asian ladies…

So yeah, the transactional side of dating in Bangkok is a side that I do not enjoy at all.

Bangkok Hidden Gem: Royal Thai Air Force Museum

Bangkok has an almost amount of attractions for all kind of users: from amazing bars and rooftops to some of the most beautiful temples in the world. Many of these places are easily found in any tourist guide or internet article about the amazing capital of Thailand. But other gems seem pretty unknown to many of the citizens and tourists of the city. We therefore present you with a new awesome place found during our exploration around, the surprising Royal thai Air Force Museum!

6 Powerful Reasons to visit the Royal Thai Air Force Museum:

  1. It is very easy to reach by public transportation, as it is located right few meters away from its homonymous stop in BTS Green Line “Royal Thai Air Force Museum”. So you do not need any expensive taxi or Grab ride to reach there, and you cannot mistake the BTS stop name at all

  2. Entrance is FREE! Yes, you do not need to pay a single baht to visit it, just walk in alone or with family or friends, and enjoy a couple of hours of entertainment walking around

  3. You can visit both extensive indoors and outdoors areas. The collection of flying machines, copters and planes is quite stunning. Inside the building there are very nice displays of some classic Thai and foreign carriers, but also outside the main building you will find a lot of more planes and helicopters, and even some secondary buildings/hangars where the exhibitions continue. The area of the museum is quite stunning, so it makes it even more incredible that is totally free. And if it rains, you can always find shelter inside the main building area.

  4. You can even enter inside some of the airplanes and big helicopters exhibited there to have a complete real feeling of how the controls and the interiors area.

  5. It is a great place to bring your kids to explore around, and also for those who love planes in general or are fans of military memorabilia. And it is relatively quiet as not many visitors go to this place, so you can enjoy the place and walk around without bumping or being obstructed by other visitors.

  6. Outside the main building there is also a souvenir shop where you can find a lot of interesting stuff for sale: from toys, planes figures on scale or military badges, medals and memorabilia. Quite a curious place if you want to buy a souvenir a bit more original than the typical elephant trousers :)

Full conference programme for the upcoming Tallinn Music Week revealed

Tallinn Music Week reveals the full programme and the final set of speakers for the music industry conference, taking place in Nordic Hotel Forum next week from 12th to 13th May. The programme focuses on three main thematic tracks: Co-creation, Connected World and Sustainable Future, addressing human and AI relations, new glocal identities, digital literacy, the future of radio, music education trends, and DIY live touring.

TMW 2023 will host the kick-off of the European Commission’s Music Moves Europe Dialogue Sessions for the next four years.
The music industry programme at the conference is developed in collaboration with Music Estonia.

The conference in Nordic Hotel Forum will start on Friday, 12th May at 10 am with the opening addresses by the Minister of Culture for Estonia Heidy Purga and Director of TMW Helen Sildna. The video address will be given by Director for Culture, Creativity and Sport in the European Commission Georg Häusler.

The opening panel will discuss how the music sector looks from the policymakers’ point of view and the various ways music ecosystem actors organise their representation and seek to influence policy. Panellists include Deputy Head of the Cultural Policy Unit at the European Commission Susanne Hollmann, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture of Latvia Uldis Zariņš, Ministerial Advisor at the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland Kimmo Aulake, Director of Music Estonia Ave Sophia Tölpt, General Manager of Music Innovation Hub and Linecheck Dino Lupelli and the research coordinator for EMEE – European Music Exporters Exchange Virgo Sillamaa.

TMW is honoured to host the kick-off session of a 10-part dialogue series under the Music Moves Europe (MME) initiative, steered by the European Commission. The first MME dialogue will look into new conceptual ideas for the European Music Ecosystem, as developed and introduced by the research team, led by Professor Dr Carsten Winter from Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media in collaboration with Frank Kimenai from Erasmus University Rotterdam. The dialogue is carried out by the representatives of Eurosonic Noorderslag, East European Music Conference, Linecheck, MaMA, Reeperbahn Festival and TMW – the festivals and conferences that are also the founders of the new Federation of Music Conferences (FoMC) that will serve as a promotional platform for these dialogues.

The highlight keynote ‘Digital Innovation and A.I. – how will future shape the music industry?’ will be given by Linnar Viik, an Estonian information technology scientist, IT visionary and the founder of soon-to-be-opened AI-powered pop art museum PoCo.art. Sinun täytyy aina käyttää henkilökohtaisia pankkitunnuksia kirjautuaksesi pelitilillesi. Jos haluat pelata turvallisesti, katso parhaat kasinot ilman rekisteröitymistä täältä.

Nopeat voittojen kotiutukset suoraan pankkitilillesi muutamassa minuutissa

Asiakkaana sinun ei enää tarvitse saada harmaita hiuksia kaiken maailman henkilökohtaisten tietojen täyttämisestä. Palvelu on niin ensiluokkaista että kaikki hoidetaan sinun puolestasi.

Pelivalikoima pysyy samana

Tässä vaiheessa monet varmasti miettivät että jotain miinuksia tällaisilla nopeilla kasinoilla täytyy olla. Voiko esimerkiksi pelivalikoima olla huonompi? Vastaus tuohon kysymykseen on ei. Pelitarjonta on sama. Eli voit pelata kaikkia suosikki-pelejäsi myös rekisteröitymisvapailla casinoilla.

Haasta aivosi keskittymällä kulttuuriin ja peleihin

Aivojumppaan löytyy monia eri keinoja. Taide ja kulttuuri saavat aivot varmasti aktiivisiksi, oli kyse sitten musiikista, historiasta, maalauksista tai muista taidenäyttelyistä. Eri näkökohtien tuumaileminen erilaisten teosten avulla on omiansa rasittamaan niitä osia aivoista, jotka eivät välttämättä päivittäisessä kanssakäymisessä ole kovalla koetuksella.

Aivot pääsevät rauhassa keskittymään myös kirjallisuuden parissa. Oli kyseessä sitten mukaansatempaava tarina, tietokirjallisuus tai runous ja muu proosa, vaatii tekstin syvällinen ymmärtäminen aina työtä aivoilta. Ja tämä työ kantaa hedelmää. Ja jos valitsemasi kirjallisuus on parasta laatua, tapahtuu siihen uppoutuminen kuin itsestään.

Palapelit ovat oiva älyllinen haaste. Älyä tarvitaan myös yllä mainituissa kirjallisuudessa ja kulttuurissa, vaikka niistä voi nauttia toki muiden aspektien kautta. Älypelejä löytyy muitakin, perinteisestä Rubikin kuutiosta shakkiin sekä joukkoon muita lautapelejä. 

Pistä keho koville hyötyliikunnan avulla

Kun mieli on kesytetty ja liiat ajattelut ajateltu, on oikea aika pistää vartalo koville. Tähän ei oikeastaan ole muuta keinoa kuin kuntoilu, oli se sitten missä muodossa tahansa. Suomessa urheileminen ja muu reippailu onneksi onnistuu verrattain helposti.

Ensimmäisen askeleen voit ottaa missä tahansa, sillä pieni kävelylenkki on yllättävän virkistävää ja kehoa rasittavaa toimintaa. Luonnon parissa puuhastelu onnistuu lähes kaikkialla, paitsi aivan suurimpien kaupunkien sydämessä. Kaupungeista löytyy kuitenkin paljon muuta tekemistä. Tärkeintä on löytää itseä kiinnostava laji, jonka parissa jaksat kuluttaa aikaa. Samalla voit laajentaa sosiaalisia piirejäsi tutustumalla muihin samasta tekemisestä kiinnostuneisiin.

Virkistä kehoa ja mieltä viihteen avulla

Kun mieltä ja kehoa on jumpattu, on aika astua viihteen pariin. Tässä voi myös helposti sekoittaa yllä mainittuja keinoja musiikin kuuntelusta älypelien pariin. Pelkkä lepääminen ei ole ainoa keino virkistää ja palauttaa kehoa ja mieltä. Myös jännittävää ja hyvinkin mukaansatempaavaa viihdettä voi käyttää rentoutumiseen. From where this tradition comes? Digging into Helsinki history, it seems that this came into place after the big fire that destroyed most of downtown in 1808. Then, the architect Johan Albrecht Ehrenström had the idea to name many of the buildings blocks into animals.

This tradition was used until the beginning of the 20th century and then normal street names replaced it, but in 1994 Helsinki citizens decided to do a revival of this wonderful tradition and brought the signs back to the central streets of Helsinki.

7 Uudenlaista Shakkipeliä Netissä


Shakki on viihdyttänyt pelaajiaan jo vuosia ja nykyisin tarjolla on monenlaisia shakkipelejä netissä. Tavallinen shakkikerää edelleen ylivoimaisesti eniten pelaajia, mutta mikäli olet kiinnostunut tutustumaan muihin potentiaalisiin pelivariaatioihin – tämä artikkeli on sinulle! 

Tämä artikkeli käy hyvin lyhyesti läpi muutamia uusia shakkipelejä, joita voit tänä päivänä pelata ja niiden erikoisominaisuuksia. Shakkipelin variaatiot tunnetaan paremmin niiden englannin kielisillä nimillä, joten niitä käytetään myös tässä artikkelissa.

  1. Bughouse chess

Tässä variaatiossa, joka myös siamilaisena shakkina tunnetaan, pelilauta on samantyylinen kuin tavallisessa shakissa. Kuitenkin suurena erona on se, että peliä pelaa neljä pelaajaa kerralla – kaksi vastaan kaksi. 

Tiimitoverit istuvat pelissä vierekkäin ja pelaajat erivärisillä nappuloilla. Peliä pelataan yleensä aikaa vastaan niin, että kello asetetaan alussa viiteen minuuttiin. Mikäli tiimiltä loppuu aika, he häviävät automaattisesti. 

  • Blindfold chess

Tätä versiota pelataan normaalilla shakkilaudalla. Blindfold chess tunnetaan myös sans voir –nimellä ja myös se löytyy netistä pelattavaksi. Tässä variaatiossa pelaajat eivät näe nappuloiden positioita eivätkä he myöskään voi koskea niihin. Tämä variaatio pakottaa pelaajansa ehdottomaan keskittymiseen pelin alusta asti. Pelaaja voivat tarkista chess vedonlyönti sivut Blindfold.

  • Blitz chess     

Myös Blitziä pelataan tavallisella shakkialustalla. Blitzissä pelaajille annetaan tietty määrä minuutteja jokaisen siirron suorittamiseen koko pelin aikana. Maksimissaan yleisesti kuitenkin pelaaja voi saada vain 15 minuuttia, jotta kaksinpelissä pelin kesto voi olla puoli tuntia. Tässä variaatiossa on siis erityisen tärkeää tehdä nopeita päätöksiä.

  • Armageddon

Tämä variaatio on melko mielenkiintoinen ja siten myös aika koukuttava. Tässä variaatiossa tasapeliä ei ole olemassa ja molemmat värit saavat pienen edun väristä riippuen. Mustilla pelaavilla pieni etu on se, että he voittavat pattitilanteessa. Valkoisilla pelaavat saavat vastaavasti hieman enemmän peliaikaa mustiin verrattuna, yleensä kuitenkin vain noin minuutin. 

  • Wild chess

Tämä on nimensä mukaan melko villi variaatio shakista. Tässä variaatiossa valkoiset nappulat eivät aloita tavallisilta paikoilta vain villisti pelilaudalla. Mustat nappulat ovatkin kuitenkin tavallisilla paikoillaan. Tätä variaatiota ei pelata aikaa vastaan. 

  • Fast chess

Pikashakki on hieman tunnetumpi shakkivariaatio. Pikashakissa pelaajat yksinkertaisesti saavat tietyn määrän aikaa suorittaa kaikki liikkeensä. Säännöt vaihtelevat hieman pelinjärjestäjästä riippuen, mutta yleensä aika on maksimissaan kuusi minuuttia. Shakkipelin läpäiseminen kuudessa minuutissa ei todellakaan ole helppoa edes aloittelevaa pelaajaa vastaan!

  • Four player chess

Tätä variaatiota nimensä mukaisesti pelataan neljällä pelaajalla. Kuitenkin Bughouse shakista poiketen, pelilauta on hyvin erilainen. Pelilauta on hieman hankala avata tekstinä, joten siitä löytyy alta kuva. 

Peliä varten tarvitaan neljät erilaiset shakkinappulat, jokainen eri väriä. Yllättävää kyllä, mutta neljän pelaajan shakkipeliä voi pelata aivan samoilla säännöillä kuin tavallista shakkia. Sääntövariaatioita pelistä kuitenkin löytää netin syövereistä pientä tutkimustyötä tekemällä.

Matkakohteena Tallinna

Tallinna on tullut monelle suomalaiselle tutuksi lähinnä päivämatkojen ja laivareissujen myötä. Pieni, mutta tunnelmallinen Tallinna kätkee sisälleen yllättävänkin paljon. Tarjolla on hyvää ruokaa, nähtävyyksiä, ostoskeskuksia sekä viihdettä.

On aika ottaa pintaa syvempi kurkistus vain lyhyen laivamatkan päässä olevaan Tallinnaan. 

Edullista ruokaa

Suomessa ravintolaruoka on ylellisyys. Se on usein viikonlopun huippukohta tai perheloman ylellisyys. Suomessakin on toki olemassa edullisia ravintoloita, mutta Tallinnan ravintoloiden hintataso pesee monin paikoin esimerkiksi Helsingin varsin selkeästi. 

Tallinnassa hyvää ja edullista ruokaa löytyy monesta eri paikasta, ja kun osaa suunnata kaikkein pahimmista turistirysistä vanhan kaupungin keskeltä hieman kauemmaksi laskee ruoan hinta merkittävästi. Myös vanha kaupunki pitää sisällään lukuisia erittäin suosittuja ja hyviä ruokapaikkoja. 

Vanhankaupungin lukuisten ravintoloiden lisäksi purtavaa löytyy esimerkiksi Rotermanni-keskuksesta sekä satamasta. Lisäksi ravintoloita löytyy myös Vapaudenaukion liepeiltä Solaris- ja Kaubamaja-kauppakeskusten läheltä. 

Edullisten hintojen ansiosta monen ruokalajin lounaat tai illalliset eivät käy kukkarolle kovinkaan pahasti. Samalla voi säästää rahaa, jota voi myöhemmin käyttää esimerkiksi virolaisella kivijalkakasinolla tai netin välityksellä luckycasinolla. 

Nähtävyyksiä jokaiselle

Tallinnassa riittää nähtävää. Kauniit merimaisemat, vanhat linnakkeet sekä lukuisat kirkot ja museot tarjoavat silmänruokaa. Eri paikoissa riittää nähtävää useammallekin eri päivälle ja matkalle. Alle olemme listanneet viisi parasta nähtävyyttä Tallinnassa.

Vanhakaupunki

Tallinnan tunnetuin ja suosituin alue on vanhankaupungin alue. Alue kuuluu Unescon maailmanperintökohteisiin, ja se on rakennettu jo 1200-1500 -luvuilla. Vanhastakaupungista löytyy paljon nähtävää, shoppailtavaa sekä ruokapaikkoja. Kauniit rakennukset ja vanhan ajan tunnelma luovat omanlaisensa tunnelman, jollaista on vaikea löytää muualta.

Kaupunginmuurit

Tallinnan kaupunginmuurit ovat peräisin 1300-luvulta, ja vielä tänä päivänä muurista on jäljellä 1,9 kilometriä sekä 20 tornia. Kaupunginmuurit kiertävät kaupunkia, ja niiden vaikuttava olemus vangitsee katseen. Osaan torneista on mahdollista päästä myös vierailemaan, jolloin Tallinnaa pääsee katsomaan varsin vaikuttavasta paikasta.

Bastionin tunnelit

Bastionin tunnelit liittyvät kaupunginmuureihin, ja niihin on mahdollista tutustua opastetuilla kierroksilla. Bastionin tunneleihin pääsee tutustumaan Kiek in de Kökin puolustustornin kautta. Tornissa pääsee samalla tutustumaan keskiaikaiseen elämään siellä sijaitsevan museon avulla.

Katariinankuja

Katariinankuja on yksi Tallinnan upeimmista pienistä kujista. Vahvasti keskiaikaista tunnelmaa uhkuva Pyhän Katariinan Kirkon läheisyydessä sijaitseva kuja tarjoaa myös oivat kuvausmahdollisuudet. Kujalta löytyy myös Katariinan kilta, jossa taitavat käsityöläiset valmistavat lasia, koruja sekä ompeleita. 

Viron merimuseo

Tallinnan modernein museo tarjoaa mielenkiintoista tietä merenkulusta sekä sodankäynnistä merellä. Museo sopii hyvin myös lapsiperheille. Perinteisen museo-osuuden lisäksi merimuseosta löytyy myös erilaisia simulaattoreita, joilla voi kokeilla veneellä ajamista tai lentämistä. 

Yllin kyllin viihdettä

Nähtävyyksien lisäksi Tallinna tarjoaa runsaasti erilaisia vaihtoehtoja illanviettoon. Lukuisat baarit, klubit sekä kasinot mahdollistavat viihtymisen yömyöhään asti. Jos majoittuu esimerkiksi Viru-hotellissa, ei baaria todellakaan tarvitse lähteä etsimään pitkältä, sillä samassa rakennuksessa sijaitsee sekä yöklubi että tunnelmallinen baari.

Gold Panning World Championships invite gold panners to Finnish Lapland in August 2019!

The World Gold Panning Championships began in Tankavaara, in the magical landscape of Finnish Lapland in 1977. This summer the gold rush of Lapland will turn 150 years old as the World Championships return to their roots by bringing together gold panning competitors from 26 countries. The Gold Panning World Championships Festival will take place in Tankavaara Gold Village, Sodankylä on 5th – 10th of August.  

The World Championships in Lapland are a great experience for the whole family, whether they come to compete or to watch. Before the World Championships, the Finnish Open Gold Panning Championships also happens there, on the August 2nd – 3rd. The whole week consists of different competitions, entertainment and activities. During the championships you can experience the magical endless day of the Arctic summer, which is very special with its 24/7 sunlight. The event program and schedule are updated on the event’s site www.tankavaaragold.fi. 

There is also a category for beginner gold panners, so if you haven’t tried it before, you can still take part in the competition: but others are pro-panners, naturally! The rules of the competition are quite easy: the winner is the one who finds all the hidden gold nuggets the fastest! Both Championships will be organized in cooperation with the Gold Prospectors Association of Finnish Lapland together with Tankavaara Gold Village. 

Maintaining History – Gold panning in a responsible way  

At Tankavaara Gold Village, gold is still panned on a small scale. The village is home to real gold prospectors, who are prospecting ‘the old way’ with a shovel. In recent years, the community has worked hard to make the whole process of gold-panning in the area more ecological and responsible, resulting in their own Certified Gold of Lapland network. By joining the network, the prospector and gold- and jewelry-smiths can get their gold ecologically and responsibly certified. Certified gold prospectors are committed to following mining and environmental legislations and the orders and instructions given by the controlling authorities. They also aim to carry out the mining guidelines given by The Gold Prospectors Association of Finnish Lapland and to develop more environmentally friendly actions all the time.

The experiences of Tankavaara Gold Village and surroundings

Me kehitimme itsellemme erilaisen joulukalenterin tälle vuodelle, käyttäen apuna listausta, joka toi netticasinot helposti saataville ja sitä kautta aloittamaan joulukalenterimme.

Näin kasinopelaaminen on muuttunut

Jokainen varmasti arvostaa klassista kasinopelaamista kivijalkakasinolla, ja laittaa mielellään paremmat vaatteet päälle, nauttii kasinon antimista ja jännityksestä, jonka tuo tieto siitä, että kasinolla voi tapahtua lähes mitä vain. Pelit ovat automatisoituneet
